Summer must be on its way because I'll be at
Southern Accent Restaurant
June 15th and 16th for our annual Blue Moon Weekend brunch-art-music event.
Inspired
by our recent trip to India (and the 2000 photos we took), you’ll notice a bit
of Varanasi and Mumbai making an appearance in my recent work, and Neil and I
will be supporting World Literacy Canada’s work in India by donating a
percentage of my painting sales to their amazing programs.
And did I
mention there’s a new pink wall in our house?
While
I’m showing my work upstairs, Frances and Thes will open their restaurant for their
amazing weekend brunch. The menu will
feature many familiar favourites, and don’t be surprised if there are a few new
temptations.
Thes
may even be spreading a little Hindi-Creole magic by incorporating some Indian
spice into a dish or two.
And,
if all of that wasn’t enough, Terry Wilkins, Tyler Yarema and Howard Moore will
be on-hand Sunday with live music.
Fantastic.
So,
bring a gaggle of your closest friends and join us on the patio for our once in
a blue moon Art-Music-Brunch Extravaganza!
Don’t
forget to make (on-line) reservations!

Varanasi, India
These paintings will be part of a silent auction to benefit World Literacy Canada during the February Kama event.
We were so fortunate to spend time at World Lit's office in Varanasi and see first hand the amazing work being done.
